Oak Grove Ventures has disclosed its investment in Meridian, a decentralized liquidity marketplace and liquid staking protocol built on Movement. Leveraging its strategic operational experience and investment network, Oak Grove Ventures will assist Meridian in becoming the central liquidity and yield hub of the Movement ecosystem, promoting global adoption and inclusivity in decentralized finance.
Meridian’s innovative Move-based smart contracts enable partner protocols to build deep liquidity while offering users secure, productive yield on their assets. By harnessing the security and composability of the Move language, Meridian aims to bridge the gap between the Move ecosystem and existing EVM and SVM solutions, enhancing DeFi opportunities for users.
This $4 million seed investment is co-led by ParaFi Capital and Borderless Capital, with contributions from Amber Group, Saison Capital and Interop Ventures. The funding aims to bolster Meridian’s role within the Movement ecosystem.
